Coffee Helps Heal the Wounded Heart

Ok, I love coffee.
It really helps me just unwind, and prepare for my day, even knowing full well that I have a closing shift today.

But yeah, I feel a little better now. I seriously love reading your guy's comments and hearing your support.
Its very uplifting.

But, good news.
My dad wants me to start working at his company with him.

For, and get this, $12/hr and 1 + 1/2 pay overtime.

Sounds too good to be true?

Well kinda is, I would be doing manual labor in a steel fabrication shop.
Last time I went to help I was set on fire.
Really.

I'll ask for an office position, I am fairly good with computers, but if I can't, oh well.
Money is money.

Oh Great...

I close today.
I hate closing the theatre. It's boring, lots of work, and lonely.

Speaking of lonely it feels like I'll never find a girlfriend.
I'm one of those "Awesome guy friends who is a rock and can support them but never the one they want to date."

But don't get me wrong guys, I might be depressed and really down, but I would never an hero.
I would just go beserk and kill everything else.

Well maybe not you guys.

Anyway I work 5 to closing yay.

Maybe I'll find a cute girl with a nice personality who actually would give a damn about me.

Maybe I Should Find an Online Job?

So I indeed was sent home from work early...
But thats ok, I can understand the reason.
The theatre I work at is designated a "Family Theatre," so you can expect that we show lots of childrens films.
Well, because we're just a small theatre we don't have a 3D projector. How do you think that affects us when literally all the new kids movies are coming out in 3D?
Because of this the other theatre down the road is getting all of our business. That and we have a huge community fair comming up so even more business will be going down the crapper.

So I was thinking, why not find a job online? I could find something to do that only requires me to sit at home on the computer for a few hours a day right? And hell I could even browse /b/ while I worked, what kind of sweet deal is that eh?

No luck on the job hunt, kinda sucks...
But I'm not giving up.
I go in to work today at 3. Knowing my managers they are going to send me home three hours into my shift. Yay.
Is Best Buy a fun place to work at?
Oh God I know, Gamestop.
I'll try there. I'd love that to no end.

My minimum wage job

So I've got this lame job working at the movie theare, and hey don't get me wrong it's fun and the staff and managers are a hoot, it's just not the money I've been looking for you know?

So, maybe it's time to start looking for another job.

This Blog is to chronicle my attempts at finding myself another job in this economy, and (if and when I do get one) how the job is and my thoughts on it.
